1. Agreement
By creating an account or using My Jumbo Tasks, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. Who Can Use My Jumbo Tasks
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One person, one account. Multiple accounts to game payouts will be suspended.
3. The Marketplace
My Jumbo Tasks is a marketplace. Posters publish micro-tasks with a budget and worker count. Workers claim slots and submit proof. We are not the employer of either side — we provide the infrastructure, escrow, and dispute mechanism.
4. Posting Tasks
- You must own the rights to anything you ask workers to do or share.
- Tasks must comply with applicable law and our prohibited-use list (see §8).
- Once admin-approved, tasks go live and your funds are held in escrow until you approve or reject submissions.
- You agree to review submissions in a reasonable time. Tasks not reviewed within their deadline may auto-expire and be refunded.
5. Working on Tasks
- You must follow the task instructions truthfully and submit genuine proof.
- Fake proof, AI-generated proof where prohibited, or coordinated multi-account abuse will result in account termination and forfeited earnings.
- Approved submissions credit your worker balance. Rejected submissions earn nothing — you can dispute via support.
6. Fees, Escrow, and Payouts
- Posters pay the task budget plus a 5% platform fee at posting time.
- Funds held in escrow are released to workers only after the poster approves a submission.
- If a task is rejected by an admin or expires unfilled, escrow is refunded to the poster minus payment-processor fees where applicable.
- Workers can request payouts to PayPal or M-Pesa once their available balance reaches the minimum (currently $10).
- Payouts are processed within 24 business hours. Processor fees may apply.
7. Currency & Conversion
The platform operates in USD. M-Pesa transactions are converted to KES at a rate posted at checkout. We may adjust the rate to reflect interbank moves; the rate at the moment of your transaction is the one that applies.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use My Jumbo Tasks to:
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion
- Distribute malware, run phishing, or harvest credentials
- Solicit illegal activity, harassment, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, or social-media metrics in violation of platform rules
- Scrape the site, abuse our APIs, or attempt to break authentication or escrow
- Buy or sell accounts, or transfer balances between users outside the platform
9. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We'll usually warn first; we may act immediately for fraud, security threats, or abuse. You can close your account anytime from Settings → Privacy; some records are retained as set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disputes
If a poster and worker disagree, contact support@myjumbotasks.com with task ID, submission ID, and your evidence. Our admins review and decide based on the task brief and submitted proof. The decision is final for platform purposes; you retain any rights you have under law.
11. Intellectual Property
Posters retain ownership of work product they commission. By submitting proof, workers grant the poster a non-exclusive licence to use the proof for the purpose stated in the task. Our brand, logos, and platform code remain ours.
12. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" without warranty. We do our best to keep the site up and the data correct, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that any task or worker will meet your expectations.
13. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from your use of My Jumbo Tasks is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or anything that can't be excluded by law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.
